Ada— I tend to like fuller bodied wines like Malbec however this was very nice. Lots of tannins so it was a little chalkier than I am used to but that’s apparently a feature, not a bug!! It was light tasting, could even have without food. I wasn’t wearing glasses at the liquor store and thought the label said Bad Dog!

My rating-

Rick— A nice surprise, this one. Perfect medium-mild with a little bit of tannin astringent to it. Went very well with the pork meal. I bet this wine would be great as a wine without food sipper.

My rating-

Pork Tenderloin

wine pairing with pork tenderloin

Grilled pork tenderloin is a delicious and tender cut of meat that is perfect for grilling. When cooked properly, it can be juicy, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Pork tenderloin is a lean cut of meat that is best cooked quickly over high heat to prevent it from becoming dry.

Rick will grill our pork tenderloin weather permitting. A liberal sprinkling of Montreal Steak Spice and griller at medium heat. For this dinner, we added some baked Russett potatoes and some frozen veggies, which Rick cooks in butter and black pepper. Yummy.

Grilling pork tenderloin gives it a smoky flavor and a slightly charred exterior, which complements the natural sweetness of the meat. It can be seasoned with a variety of herbs and spices, such as garlic, rosemary, thyme, or paprika, to enhance its flavor.

Grilled pork tenderloin can be served as a main dish with a variety of sides, such as roasted vegetables, potatoes, or a salad. It can also be sliced thinly and used in sandwiches or wraps. Overall, grilled pork tenderloin is a delicious and versatile cut of meat that is sure to please any meat lover.
