Today’s Pick – Red Knot Cabernet Sauvignon

Red Knot Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine produced by Shingleback Wine, a family-owned winery located in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The wine is made from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety and is known for its bold and full-bodied taste, with rich flavors of blackcurrant, blackberry, and vanilla. It is typically aged in oak barrels to give it a smooth finish. Red Knot Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the winery’s most popular wines and has received numerous awards and accolades for its exceptional quality.

Ada— This wine is definitely going on Ada’s Favorites list It was smooth and fruity, good with or without food, at a great price point.

My rating-

Rick— This wine was delish! It’s going on Rick’s Favorites list. A beautiful colour and aroma. Tasting it was a fruity suprise. I could drink this all day long… although that would be a different blog post. At 20 bucks I recommend this wine all the way from Australia.

Shingleback Red Knot Cabernet Sauvignon is known for its balanced and complex profile. It typically offers vibrant flavors of blackberry, cherry, and plum, supported by secondary flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, and subtle hints of spice or oak, the latter due to its aging process in oak barrels. This Cab-Sauv often has a medium to full body with moderate acidity and tannins, resulting in a wine that’s smooth and approachable, yet nicely structured. A long, satisfying finish also characterizes it.

What exactly is a Sirloin steak?

A Sirloin steak is a cut of beef that comes from the sirloin, a subprime section of the beef carcass. It is located behind the ribs and before the round, and it is divided into two parts: the top sirloin and the bottom sirloin. The sirloin steak is cut from the top sirloin section, which is closer to the loin and is considered to be the more tender and flavorful part of the sirloin. Sirloin steaks are known for their rich, beefy flavor and are often grilled or broiled. They can be bone-in or boneless and are typically served medium-rare to medium.
